Description
We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our rapidly expanding team in our Gunnedah Branch.
- Licensed Heavy Vehicle Mechanic cert III or equivalent
- Motor Vehicle Tradespersons Certificate
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Heavy Vehicle Transport Industry
- HVIAS inspector an advantage but not a requirement
- Service & general repairs various makes & models of Trucks Trailers & stationary pumps/generators
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
- Diagnose and repair system faults
- Component change outs
- Component rebuilds
- Current Full drivers Licence (HR required)
Criteria
- Experience in On Highway Trucks & Trailers
- Safety first attitude (essential)
- Be committed, self-motivated and resourceful
- Highly organised and have a sense of initiative – must be able to meet deadlines
- Strong Customer Service background (essential)
- Have vibrant personality and great customer service skills
- Fluent understanding of service & parts manuals
- Knowledge using vehicle diagnostics systems
- Ability to work both alone and as a team
- Ability to follow instructions
